InstoAsset Backed Securities (ABS) Deal of the Quarter - INSTO 2006

Following successful transactions in 2005, Liberty was awarded INSTO’s Award for the best ABS transaction of the first quarter of 2006, for its A$1.45 billion Series 2006-1 transaction. This transaction was the largest issue backed by non-conforming mortgages in Australia’s capital markets history and outdid previous records set by Liberty.

InstoInnovative Deal of the Year - INSTO 2005

Liberty received INSTO’s Award for the Most Innovative Asset Backed Transaction of 2005 for its inaugural securitisation of ABS backed by auto receivables. Liberty’s Series 2005-1 Auto transaction involved the issue of A$100 million backed by a pool of prime, non-conforming and sub-prime auto receivables and was the first transaction of its kind in Australia.

Best Securitisation Deal of the Year - Finance Asia 2005

Finance AsiaLiberty was awarded Best Securitisation Transaction of 2005 for its A$1.2 billion Series 2005-1 securitisation of non-conforming mortgage backed securities by Finance Asia. This award was based on a survey of capital markets investors, by Finance Asia, a leading monthly magazine that focuses on financial markets in Asia and Australia.

InstoMortgage–Backed Securities Deal of the Year - INSTO 2002

INSTO, one of Australia’s leading publisher of financial newsletters recognised Liberty’s Series 2002-1 transaction as the Best Mortgage–Backed Securities Deal of 2002. This transaction was the largest transaction of its kind at the time.
