Case study

Short term employment

Grant needed finance to purchase a car as his previous one had been written off in an accident. Grant worked in the IT industry and had recently changed employers to take up a more senior position. Banks had rejected his loan application as he had only been employed a short time with his new employer. After advice from a friend who had been in a similar situation, Grant applied for a loan with Liberty. At Liberty, we were able to confirm Grant’s current job. Grant's previous tax assessment notices and stable work history provided evidence he could service the proposed loan. We approved the loan for Grant.

“Without a car I was in danger of losing my job. Liberty was great. They approved my loan and I was able to purchase a car within a week of putting an application in.”
