Health and family support

  • We believe in giving parents the space they need to adjust to life with their new baby. That’s why we offer 14 weeks of paid parental leave, with the flexibility to spread it over a 26-week period.

    Primary caregivers can also take up to 52 weeks of leave with continued superannuation contributions. Following this, they have the option of requesting a 52-week extension.

    Since every family looks different, our inclusive leave options also support adoption, surrogacy, foster care, and special parental leave.

  • We know that transitioning from parental leave is made easier with practical, compassionate support. To help parents balance work and family life, we offer:

    • Subsidised childcare for two years after team members return to work.

    • Three days of paid leave for parents whose children are starting their first year of primary school.

    • A fully subsidised KidsCo program, available during school holidays at our Melbourne office. This program provides a safe and engaging space for children to learn, play, and connect while their parents are at work.

  • Understanding the importance of reproductive health and wellbeing, Liberty supports team members with five days of paid leave per year for procedures and conditions including:

    • Painful periods (dysmenorrhoea)

    • Endometriosis

    • Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)

    • Menopause

    • Sperm or egg donation

    • Freezing of sperm or eggs

    • Embryo transfers

    We also offer two days of paid leave per year for those undergoing fertility treatment or supporting a partner through the process.

  • We understand that gender affirmation can be a deeply personal experience. We’re committed to supporting our transgender and gender-diverse team members through their journey of affirming their gender with up to 10 days of additional leave.

  • We’re passionate about helping team members feel their best, both at work and beyond. To make it easier to stay active and well, we offer subsidies for health-related memberships and programs that support wellbeing.

    We also subsidise team members’ private health insurance and provide access to exclusive discounts through Medibank Private.

  • As a corporate partner of the Metlink Commuter Club, Liberty provides team member discounts on yearly tickets for Melbourne’s Metro network, which includes trains, trams, and buses.

  • Liberty helps team members cover the annual cost of their car registration by spreading the upfront amount over six months with salary deductions.

  • We’re proud to support our team members with ALI life insurance options, helping them stay protected against unforeseen circumstances.

  • Liberty’s salary sacrificing program gives team members the option to make voluntary superannuation contributions. They can also salary sacrifice the cost of work-related equipment purchases.

  • Another way we help our team members save is by offering novated leasing. By choosing to salary package with a car, Liberty employees can pay a portion of their vehicle finance and running costs using pre-tax dollars.
