For the second year in a row, Liberty has been named among Diversity Council Australia (DCA)'s Inclusive Employers. This reflects an ongoing commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued, respected and connected.
The recognition follows Liberty’s participation in the DCA and Diversity Atlas run Inclusive Employer Index, an in-depth workplace survey that measures employee diversity and inclusion experiences.
To be recognised by DCA as an Inclusive Employer, organisations must exceed the National Index Benchmark across several key diversity and inclusion areas.
Liberty CEO James Boyle said Liberty was honoured to again be recognised as an Inclusive Employer.
“At Liberty, diversity and inclusion is key to how we operate and embedded in the way we conduct ourselves each day. So, we’re proud to be recognised as an Inclusive Employer for a second year. Our purpose to help more people get and stay financial is grounded in our belief that everyone deserves fair access to finance, and this recognition validates our focus and efforts.”
DCA CEO Catherine Hunter congratulated this year’s Inclusive Employers for showing their commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces where employees in all their diversity can thrive.
“DCA’s Inclusive Employer Index shines a spotlight on employers who are creating meaningful change and inspiring other to follow their lead,” Catherine said.
“The Inclusive Employer Index is more than just a diagnostic tool. It’s a chance to reflect on areas for growth, plan next steps, and celebrate your organisation’s diversity and inclusion.”
Demonstrating and learning about diversity is important to Liberty, illustrated through numerous gender equality, First Nations, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, mental health and cultural initiatives.
