About us

We’re proud to work with community organisations that share common values with us providing help to those who are often overlooked. We currently partner with and support numerous organisations that you can read more about below:

Liberty Lend-A-Hand

Lend-A-Hand provides significant financial support to our community partners. We also volunteer to take part in or assist with organisation activities. All staff donations are matched by Liberty, and all monies raised go to our Lend-A-Hand partners:

The Mirabel Foundation helps children who've been orphaned or abandoned due to parental drug use and are in the care of an extended family. Mirabel believes that every child deserves a childhood and its mission is to break the destructive cycle of addiction.

The Beacon Foundation aims to influence Australian attitudes and culture so that young people develop an independent will to achieve personal success for themselves and their community. Beacon believes intergenerational patterns of dependency don't have to be.

AARDVARK is a songwriting program for young people who love music and want to connect with others like them. It is especially for those who are at risk, disengaged, or experiencing adversity and therefore unable to access music opportunities. The program is driven by passion, inclusion and an emphasis on community.

B Corp Certification

B Corporations are organisations that explicitly endeavour to balance purpose and profit. Liberty was founded to increase financial inclusivity by responsibly helping people from all walks of life gain access to credit to achieve their goals. We are proud to be B Corp certified and hold ourselves to high standards for social and environmental accountability, performance and transparency. There are more than 3,000 B Corps across the globe, all of which are measured across areas of governance, workers, community, environment and customers on expansive criteria beyond conventional business targets.

Financial Inclusion Action Plan Program

The FIAP Program is part of Australia’s commitment to financial inclusion and follows the nation’s agreement to the G20 Financial Inclusion Action Plan and the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals in 2015. Liberty is the first non-bank to join the program, which is managed by Good Shepherd Microfinance in partnership with the Australian Government, EY and the Centre for Social Impact. It is also supported by an Advisory Group of government, corporate and community sector professionals. Explore the details of our FIAP Statement of Commitment here
